Feminists say that if they walk around naked and get raped, it’s not their fault.  Let me ask you this, if you owned a bank and left the doors wide open with no security and you got robbed in the middle of the night, is it the robbers fault or yours?

Literally the robber’s fault??? They walked in and took something that wasn’t theirs??? They knew pretty well that they shouldn’t steal things??? What is your argument even trying to prove???

Also like… I have been dumb and done that and had stuff taken from me. It sucked. I will never be that absent-minded again. Sure.

But the other half of the coin is: the people who took my shit chose to take advantage. They could have gone “Oh, this person was absent minded tonight. Maybe she was stressed, or tired, or dealing with something. Why should I compound it by stealing from her?”

They chose to steal from me instead. That was shitty of them.

Exactly; maybe you felt a bit stupid for leaving your stuffs unattended as we all tend to, but regardless it’s still not your fault. If someone chooses to do something bad such as stealing then it will always be the fault of that person and certainly not the fault of the victim. It doesn’t matter how stupid or distracted or weak you perceive your victim to be, those things do not justify what you did. The word “victim” should always be a tip off. If you can describe someone as such then what happened is not their fault as it is not something they did but something that was done to them. End of the story.

And also, as was said above, women are not inanimate objects, we aren’t “things to take”, and maybe if people wanting to find excuses to rapists or killers or whatever stopped acting like we are then I’d be more open minded when it come to listening to their point of view - not that I would agree mind you. But so far they aren’t, I’m a person, treat me like one, then maybe we can have a conversation.

So yes OP, if a woman walks around naked and she’s raped, you can think she’s stupid for doing so all you want but at the end of the day, she’s still the victim and it’s still the fault of the rapist, because guess what? The person who’s doing it will still be a RAPIST, and looking beyond that word just to try to make excuses is disgusting.
